As most everyone knows, Marshall had a rough few months because of Helene. While out guest will not be able to experience the magic of this mountain town to it's fullest right now, we encourage you to donate to Marshall, and the various other communities that were harmed by the storm. WNC is still open for business, the shops, cafes, and artisans who made it unscathed could still use your dollars coming to the community.

Essential Information.
Getting to the Outpost couldn't be easier. Just ten minutes off of the interstate makes for a straight shot to get here, no long and windy country roads! A gravel private road leads to the house. Easy access means you are able to hear some road noise but we've always felt the views make it worth it! Keyless entry is in place so you don't have to worry about keeping up with keys. Asheville is all the rage but we also love the small-town vibe of Marshall and Weaverville. We've left a house manual at the Outpost that highlights a bunch of our favorite spots!
Where you’ll be
Perched on a private knoll just 5 min from Marshall, 10 min to Weaverville and 20 min to Asheville, the Outpost offers easy access to hiking & biking, Pisgah National Forest, shopping and so many restaurants and breweries! The banks of the French Broad are literally only a mile down the road. Enjoy the laid back vibe of Marshall & Hot Springs or be in Asheville with a short, easy drive. From the outdoor enthusiasts to those just wanting to entertain family and friends, The Outpost Marshall is THE spot!
Neighborhood highlights
The road only has a few houses on it and everyone has acreage. You can see one house on the neighboring hill but that's it! Our yard is often visited by the same 5 deer and huge flocks of turkeys. It's actually a sweet little road to walk as well, with beautiful views and quiet pastures. We often see Redtails flying above and bunnies dart back and forth in front of us.
Getting around
Parking is absolutely no issue up here! There is a large double car garage and enough space to park at least 5 more cars. We bet you'll choose to park your cars outside and use the garage to play ping pong or darts instead! There is also a fire pit on the back side!
